Love that it is simple and doesn't have all the fancy stuff that can break. I ordered the after market ice maker but the wrong one came with it and I'm still waiting not the part. The great part about that is it's only $100 and if it breaks, it's only $100 fix. I do wish the front was not the smooth sleek finish that lots of people like. I like the older textured finish that doesn't show the fingerprints and dings, etc. Just a simple girl here.

The delivery was great , arrived in perfect condition , the set up was easy , one minor issue the doors need to be adjusted which is not going to be a big deal , refrigerator works perfect , very quiet and the temperature is just right . Way to go Whirlpool

I had a Samsung that blew out its first motor in 4 years. Second was about to go out. Since the drawers never worked right, I decided to get a new refrigerator. I looked at all the ones with fancy doors, Bluetooth, water, etc and decided that I would get a side by side. Now I have more room than with one that had ice maker and water. Only negative is the shelves do not adjust and are narrower than my old one. I am very happy with it otherwise. I will give up a little to be able to see all my food in the freezer side. Much better than a drawer.

ce réfrigérateur remplace un frigo que j'utilisais depuis 41 ans. J'aime son espace de rangement sa clarté on peut voir partout à l'intérieur. Ce qui laisse à désirer le maniement des tiroirs de fruits et légumes, j'ai l'impression qu'ils vont cassé que ce n'est pas très solide. ma note que je donne à mon frigo 9 sur 10. Il est silencieux et la crème glacée est très ferme lorsqu'on vient pour s,en servir. C'est un bon choix

Since I am on a well, a ice maker and water dispenser was not practical. Whiripool was the only manufacturer with a plain side by side which fits our decor. Looks great, plenty of storage space and a decent price.

We were looking to add a black upright freezer, but could not find one that would fit into the space designed for it. (In the pantry, space for a refrigerator and a freezer) We decided to get another side by side without an ice maker. Between the three side by side refrigerators that we now have, we have as much, or more, space than a single freezer would have provided us. I was a little surprised that there was not a manual that came with the refrigerator. I had to call to obtain a download, as I could not get the Whirlpool website to respond to my request to download the complete manual. Without the manual, I could not see how to lock down the front wheels, and the pamphlet that came with the fridge was giving instructions for a different temperature control; the picture looked the same, but the instructions were for something that did not exist on this model!

So I wanted a side by side but with out the water and ice maker. This is perfect. Mind you I was going from a freezer top 18.5 cu ft to this lovely side by side 25.1 cu ft. I wanted the max space and seeing that the ice and water maker takes up about 1/5 to 1/4 of the freezer I said no way. So I got this lovely model. I read reviews and did research. Some people said it was loud and noisy. But all it does is hum a little. It is quieter than ones I have been around. A lot quieter than a dishwasher and a dryer. Like the nice little hum from a AC unit through a wall and that's only when it's cooling down again. But back to the storage. Oh my OH MY I have so much room I love it. I'm in heaven. A family of four and a toddler that's non stop. She loves it she is able to grab things from both the frig and freezer. Frozen go-gurt and yogurt cheese, her juice and so much more she feels she is on top of the world. Keep all this in mind when buying.

I like the simplicity of this model and the fact that it doesn't have through-the-door water and ice. Those features take up a lot of space and add to maintenance issues, in my opinion. As such there is ample room within this refrigerator, and it looks attractive. It does have one quirk in that, when the freezer door is closed, it makes a ghost-like sound....whoooooooo. Scary, but not a deal breaker.

Purchased on Aug. 11, 2018. Refrigerator is big and roomy on the inside. Much bigger on the inside than I expected! Refrigerator side is well lit with 2 LED lights, glass shelves with tons of usable space! Don't like where the temperature controls are located in the refrigeration side...mounted top left side....takes up valuable top shelve space. Freezer side is big and roomy on the inside as well with 2 LED lights. Freezer is big enough to lay a 12" frozen pizza flat on the shelf :) The exterior is all black. Doors are high gloss smooth black finish. Overall, I like the refrigerator. Only gave it 4 stars because of the noise level. When the freezer is running to keep cool is it loud and noisy. Not what I was expecting. The noise level on the freezer takes some getting used too. This is the only side by side refrigerator/freezer with no ice/water in the door...very difficult to find....it is the reason I purchased this one.

Needed a basic side by side refrigerator without water/ice dispenser in the door leaving more room for food. Only wish was that there was a meat/cheese drawer. This unit effectively maintains its temperatures and you really only hear it briefly throughout the day. Great fridge! Would suggest to anyone looking for a basic side by side that does the job.

Nice fridge. But the ice bucket is too small. If you let the ice maker continue to make ice, it overflows and cubes fall all over the place. Which is a real issue if it falls to the bottom as the bottom drawers doesn't seem to come out to let you remove the fallen ice cubes.

My first one lasted less than 2 months. They replaced with another one because of faulty workmanship. I've only had my replacement for 3 weeks. I do like the refrigerator, but time will tell if it will last; this is the reason I g
ave it only three stars. The temperature so far seems to be fine, and I really like the spaciousness of the 25 cubic foot; it is my first side by side. I do not need an ice maker, and like the extra space it gives me.

I absolutely LOVE this refrigerator. It is so very roomy and the temperature is very consistent throughout. The outside black is a little more glossy than I would prefer, but overall it is a wonderful addition to our kitchen ;0)
