I really like some of the features. I like that it can be vented outside (if your installer knows how to do that at an extra charge. I like that the vent has 4 speeds. I like that the vent is not that loud. The vent also comes on automatically if it senses too much heat coming from the cooktop. The surface light is too dim, even on the high setting. The door is made of plastic and sounds like it will break or crack if you slam the door shut.

I've noticed over the years that every appliance from any supplier is not as good as previously purchased. I do like the features, the larger size too! I will love it, just doesn't sound like quality when you close the door. Nothing wrong, just tinny!

I am really enjoying this product. I love the slate finish. That is why I bought all four GE slate appliances new. My kitchen looks very professional. I was sick and tired of stainless steel. The look of stainless steel and trying to keep it clean. This microwave has many more modern features than the competitor's microwave that I replaced.

Since our last microwave had to be repaired within the two years that we had it installed and this one actually died within less than FIVE years, I don't have much to say about this microwave. Also, the matching dish washer had to be replaced also. That was the second service call for it too! Seems like GE is falling short of quality!

This is a large microwave and has a lot of nice features. But when "beverage" is pushed the spelling is wrong on the lighted print out, the word BEVERGE comes up, and the spelling drives me crazy!

I've had all the products associated with this line when we updated our kitchen. The first replacement microwave was done under warranty. When it went bad again recently I found the microwave on sale for probably less than what a service goal and parts would've cost so I just replaced it.

We had bought this same model, same wattage and it quit working after 5 1/2 years. We were pleased with that one and the ease of use. We didn't want to relearn how to use a new microwave. Well, after installing it, it doesn't heat as well as our old one. Still 1000 watts. But takes longer to reheat leftovers. Takes longer to make hot drinks. If it's used too long it starts making a noise. When it cools down and we use it again, it's fine.

I have a few observations. The door open and closing feels not so smooth. Unless I deliberately slow down my closing it, I cause a loud slam . I think it should be constructed in a way that operates better.

We had a GE over the range microwave before, and liked it, but it died on us after less than six years, so we bought a new one. It was a pain in the butt to install, because the brackets were different and it required new holes to be drilled, the vent didn't line up, etc. You think a 30 inch GE microwave would fit in the same space as the old one, but no. . . Grrr!

I like the microwave so far. I have used it to only reheat food and water. The microwave was delivered on 1/27/2022 and already the touch pad is shown wear defects at the number 1 and the add 30 sec. There are other areas showing future wear points, the 3, the 4, the power level and the turn table. A close look, it is possible to see defects in the finish. It is 2/6/2022, short time for this to be occurring.
